The next Skoll World Forum (SWF) will take place April 1–4, 2025. Forum attendance is curated by the Skoll Foundation team, with free virtual participation open to everyone.
Alongside the Skoll World Forum, the Marmalade Festival hosts an ecosystem of independent events to explore and expand solutions to social problems. The 2024 Marmalade Festival will take place April 1–4, 2025 at the Old Fire Station. All ecosystem events will be free or low-cost and open to the public.

A public seminar series, Insights for Action explores how researchers and practitioners within and beyond Oxford are using research insights to drive social change. Recent sessions have covered topics such as workarounds for systems change; leadership and wellbeing in the impact sector; and creating impact at scale through avenues such as the B Corp movement, state bureaucracies, supply chain governance, and major programmes. Launched in 2022, our annual community convening brings researchers, practitioners, and learners together to consider critical questions such as: what does ‘impact’ mean, and how should it be measured, financed, and sustained? What leadership and organising skills are needed to catalyse impact? How can we build resilience to do this work well? What can we learn from ‘new frontiers’ of impact creation – in the metaverse, outer space, and on our doorstep?
